The Advisory Council is appointed by the Government. The council is chaired by the Director General. The following individuals are members of the Advisory Council:
Elisabeth is the Head of the Division of Culture and Education in the Norrbotten County Council. She previously worked as the Manager of the Culture and Tourism Administration in the Municipality of Kungsbacka and at the Stora Teatern/Göteborg Opera. At the Stora Teatern/Göteborg Opera, she worked as a singer and then as the Director of the Göteborg Opera Choir. She also worked as a project manager and for five years as the Human Resources Director for the operations.
Tobias is a cultural economist and the Managing Director of the knowledge firm Volante, which conducts studies, publishes books and arranges training programmes. He has been behind a number of market and financial analyses focused on the cultural sector and creative industries. In autumn 2009, he was the only Swede selected as one of the finalists for the Cultural Policy Research Award in Europe. Tobias studied at the Stockholm School of Economics and Columbia Business School.
Mikael is the Director of Culture and Education at the Sörmland County Council. He has broad experience as a manager in many organisations and contexts. He previously worked at the Swedish Migration Board, as the Assistant Concert Hall Director at Bergwaldhallen, as the Vice President of Kairos Future and as the administrative director of education in independent schools and folk high schools. Mikael is originally a musician and an organist and choir leader by training. In addition, he completed an MBA in General Management at the Stockholm School of Economics.
Amelie von Zweigbergk
Amelie von Zweigbergk is a member of Unesco’s board in Paris part-time, and part-time studies upper secondary school vocational programs. She has been an Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education responsible for inter alia adult education and popular education issues and has also been an Under-Secretary of State to the EU Minister.
